A 79-year-old retiree was shot dead in Clarendon on Wednesday morning.
Parnell Scott, a resident of York Circle, York Town, was found murdered in his community shortly after 6 o'clock.
Residents heard gunfire in the community and later found the elderly man with multiple bullet wounds.
He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
No motive has been established for the killing.
