The bodies of the children were found in bushes in Swamp district, Moneague, St. Ann on Wednesday.
Radio Jamaica News has been informed that the St. Ann man accused of killing two toddlers was on Friday questioned by detectives.
The man was questioned in the presence of his attorney, Richard Lynch.
He is expected to be charged for the murder of one-year-old Amir Saunders and three-year-old Shamir Henry.
The children were killed and their bodies dumped in bushes near the community of Swamp district in Moneague, St. Ann on Tuesday night.
It is reported that on Tuesday night, the suspect, who is a father of the one-year-old, began acting strangely after drinking a pot of ganja tea. He is alleged to have used a pair of scissors to attack the children.
The mother of the two boys was questioned and released by the police.
The Major Investigation Division is leading the probe.
