Fishers being urged to evacuate cays, banks as Hurricane Beryl approaches

Fishers on Jamaica's cays and banks are being advised to evacuate immediately and start returning to the mainland.
 
The Meteorological Service of Jamaica says other small craft operators in Jamaica's coastal waters are also being advised to return to port.
 
Small craft operators who are in port are being warned not to venture out.
 
The National Fisheries Authority has warned fishers that Hurricane Beryl is rapidly approaching, bringing dangerous winds, high waves and severe weather conditions.
