An additional five persons have died from COVID-19 in Jamaica.
The death toll has increased to 1,042.
Three of the deaths were recorded in St. James, while Manchester and St. Mary each had one.
At the same time, 60 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed on Tuesday from 708 samples.
The positivity rate is 7.8 per cent.
The overall case count is now 49,795.
The number of persons hospitalised with COVID-19 has increased by one to 120.
Eight of the cases are critical.
