Former head of the Spanish Town-based Clansman gang 35-year-old Tesha Miller who was convicted in the US last year is to be sent back to Jamaica on Monday.
Well placed sources confirmed that local police are bracing for his return as Miller wielded significant influence in Spanish Town.
Senior detectives have also expressed concern that Miller's return will coincide with the release of a rival gangster from a local prison.
Miller was detained in September 2013 by US immigration authorities shortly after his arrival in Miami, Florida.
He was nabbed for re-entering the US without valid documentation, after he allegedly travelled by boat from The Bahamas.
Miller was handed a 28-month sentence at his court appearance on June 6, 2014.
It's believed that due to his short sentence he spent most of his time at an immigration centre awaiting his deportation to Jamaica.
Miller's younger sibling, Craig Miller was among two persons shot and killed on January 6 by gunmen on March Pen Road in St. Catherine.
