Opposition Leader Mark Golding is proposing a Commission of Enquiry into the collapse of investment firm Stocks & Securities Limited.

The firm is at the centre of a multi billion dollar fraud scheme in which some of its investors, including Olympian Usain Bolt were fleeced of millions of dollars.

Mr Golding, making his contribution to the Budget Debate on Tuesday, said the SSL debacle has resulted in investors being cautious.

Usain Bolt, who addressed his personal situation on a podcast recently, confirmed that he was yet to get back any of the approximately US$13 million defrauded from his account

Jean Ann Panton, a former wealth advisor at SSL, is facing multiple charges in relation to the fraud at the entity.
