Green Island outstation of Hanover Parish Court closed for remedial work

 

The Court Administration Division (CAD) has temporarily closed the Green Island outstation of the Hanover Parish Court to facilitate extensive remedial work.

 

Kadiesh Jarrett Fletcher, Director of Communication at the CAD, said the closure became necessary due to critical structural deficiencies.

 

She said the structure requires urgent attention to ensure continued safety of court staff and members of the public.

 

"Consequently, all matters previously scheduled for hearing at the Green Island outstation have been relocated to the Hanover Parish Court in Lucea until further notice. Litigants and members of the public are asked to contact the Hanover Parish Court at 876-553-6956 where they are unsure of their court dates," Mrs. Jarrett Fletcher advised. 

 

She thanked court users for their understanding and cooperation, adding that the CAD is "committed to providing safe, secure and accessible court services across the island".
