Gunmen rob fast food restaurant in downtown Kingston, after holding staff, customers hostage

The Kingston Central police have launched a manhunt for a group of gunmen who staged a robbery at the KCF outlet on King Street after holding the staff and customers hostage.
 
The customers and staff of the fast food restaurant were locked inside the store sometime after eleven o'clock and robbed by the hoodlums.
 
Superintendent Beresford Williams, Commanding Officer for the Kingston Central Police, told Radio Jamaica News that investigators are trying to identify the suspects.
 
Superintendent Williams also admitted that the robbery occurred even as  the police have stepped up their presence in the commerical district in downtown, Kingston, to protect shoppers over the Christmas holidays.
