Gunmen steal over 8 million dollars from JN MoneyGram in Mandeville

Gunmen struck at a Jamaica National MoneyGram Outlet in Mandeville Manchester today, making off with more than eight million dollars.

It's reported that about 9:45 am customers and employees were inside the establishment at Walks on Manchester Road, when four armed men entered.

The thugs held up the employees and forced them to open a vault.

The gunmen then stole approximately 8.5 million dollars in cash.

A customer who was transacting business inside the outlet was also robbed by the men who escaped on foot in the area.

Radio Jamaica News spoke with Councillor for the Mandeville Division, Jones Oliphant, who expressed concern about the brazen attack.

The police have launched a manhunt for the robbers.
