Guyana's Ministry of Education on Thursday announced several interventions to help improve mathematics teaching in schools across the country.
Among the interventions is that math must now be taught only in morning sessions and in double periods.
The Ministry says it has observed several undesirable practices in the teaching of mathematics across secondary schools, which have affected CSEC mathematics performance negatively.
