Sandra Grant Griffiths, Jamaica's Consul General to Miami is to be the country's new ambassador to the United Mexican States. She will begin her tour of duty next month.
Mrs. Grant Griffiths entered the Jamaican foreign service more than 30 years ago serving both the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Office of the Prime Minister simultaneously. Prior to her appointment in Miami, the ambassador-designate was chief of State Protocol to the Government of Jamaica and director of Protocol in the Foreign Affairs Ministry.
