A 28-year-old chef was Sunday night shot and killed in a
drive by shooting in Portmore, St. Catherine.
The dead man has been identified as Troy Walker of Passage Fort Drive.
It is reported that just after seven o' clock Mr. Walker was among a group of persons standing at the intersection of Dawkins Avenue and Palmetto West when a heavily tinted white Toyota Townace minibus drove up.
It is reported that the occupants of the bus opened fire on the group and Mr. Walker was shot in the head.
He was later pronounced dead at hospital.
No one else was hurt in the incident.
RJR News understands that Sunday night's incidents marked the third in fatal shooting in that community since the start of the month.
