The St. Ann police are probing a hit-and-run crash which claimed the life of a man on Wednesday morning in Ocho Rios.
The fatal motor vehicle collision occurred about 6:05 a.m. along Main Street in the vicinity of the Carib Complex.
The cops are now searching for the driver of a black BMW motor vehicle for questioning.
It's reported that the victim was attempting to enter his parked Honda motor vehicle along the roadway when he was hit from behind by the BMW that was travelling east along Main Street towards St. Mary.
The police say both vehicles were damaged but the driver of the BMW did not stop.
The injured driver of the Honda was pronounced dead at hospital.
