A woman in the central Jamaica parish of Manchester was on Thursday arrested and charged, after she was allegedly found in possession of lottery scamming paraphernalia.
Janice Powell, 27, of Greenvale, was charged by members of the Manchester Proactive Investigative Unit with Possession of Identity Information.
According to the police, Miss Powell who had been under surveillance for several weeks, was seen walking in Mandeville. She was detained and searched and 14 lead sheets containing personal information of individuals living in the United States were reportedly found in her possession.
Miss Powell is booked to appear in the Mandeville Resident Magistrate's Court on November 11.
