Japan has been hit by one of its strongest typhoons in decades.
Torrential rain and gusts of 157 miles per hour hit the south of the country, although the typhoon has now weakened to a severe tropical storm.
At least three people were killed in a landslide and dozens have been injured.
Citizens have described the weather event as "out of this world".
More than five million people in the south of Japan have been told to evacuate.
At least 237,000 homes are without power and more than 700 flights are cancelled.
