Tax Administration Jamaica says it has already collected more than two billion dollars or 20 per cent of the $10 billion it is aiming to collect under its Special Arrears Settlement Programme, launched late last month.
The progamme waives penalties, interest and surcharges accrued on all accounts once the
principal amount is paid in full by March 31 of this year.
It provides an opportunity for all persons employed or self-employed to clear their debts to the Government of Jamaica without the additional costs associated with penalties.
