Police and firefighters are at the scene of a major motor vehicle crash in St. Ann.
The crash, which occurred along the Runaway Bay to Discovery Bay main road, involved four vehicles.
Senior Superintendent Dwight Powell, head of the St. Ann Police, told Radio Jamaica News that there are fatalities as two of the vehicles burst into flames.
The occupants were trapped in the wreckage.
The incident has caused a major pile up of traffic.
