Attorneys representing National Commercial Bank (NCB)
were Thursday successful in their ongoing legal battle to close more than a
dozen accounts relating to alternative investment agency, Cash Plus Limited.
General Manager for General Council and Special Projects at NCB, Dave Garcia said the Court of Appeal partially allowed the bank's appeal against an order of the Supreme Court.
Mr. Garcia said the order had required the bank to keep open various accounts of the Cash Plus group.
The NCB official said the bank's management was pleased with the Court's ruling.
Mr. Garcia said the bank will be back in Court next week to argue for the closure of the remaining nine accounts.
