The Kingston Western Police have launched a manhunt for the suspect behind the fatal shooting of a 17-year-old British national along Third Street in Trench Town, St. Andrew on Friday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Romario Scott, otherwise called 'Rams', of an England address.
Investigators reported that the 17-year-old, who was visiting relatives on the island, was standing in the company of other persons in the vicinity of Building S, sometime after 2 a.m.
He then walked to the back of the building in the company of the suspect, who goes by the alias 'Squeeze'.
Multiple gunshots were then heard, and the suspect was seen jumping into a waiting motor car, which sped off.
The British teenager was then found with multiple gunshot wounds.
He was rushed to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The police have not established a motive for the killing.
