The New Market to Carmel Road in St. Elizabeth remains flooded almost a month after the passage of Tropical Storm Ida.
Stephen Shaw, Communication Manager at the National Works Agency (NWA), said it appears that the road continues to be affected by run-offs following rainfall in western parishes, including Westmoreland, St. James and St. Elizabeth.
Motorists wishing to travel towards Darliston, through Carmel, should use the alternative route through Kilmarnock.
