Nine of the 23 alleged members of the Clansman Gang have been further remanded until July 11.
The case management hearing failed to get off the ground Thursday morning as only Tesha Miller and eight of his co-accused were brought to court due to the industrial action by correctional officers at the Horizon Adult Remand Centre.
Bench warrants were issued for the other defendants.
The accused men are charged with murder, conspiracy to murder, attempted murder, robbery with aggravation, illegal possession of firearm and illegal possession of ammunition.
The men, who are alleged to have participated in these criminal activities between August 5, 2017 and August 22, 2022 in St. Catherine, are charged under the Criminal Justice (Suppression of Criminal Organizations) Act, commonly called the anti-gang legislation.
