A man is dead and seven others injured, after they were involved in an incident at the Tulloch Springs/Rio Cobre Pipeline in Caymanas in the central parish of St. Catherine on Tuesday.
It's understood that the men were changing pipes after which the water was turned on and the pipeline subsequently exploded.
Minister of Water, Robert Pickersgill, along with the National Water Commission (NWC) President Kingsley Thomas were on the scene at the time of the incident.
