Opposition Spokesman on Labour Wavell Hinds
Opposition Spokesman on Labour Wavell Hinds is taking issue with what he claims is discriminatory treatment of Jamaican contractors on the country's road rehabilitation programmes.
Mr Hinds, speaking at the People's National Party's Milk River Divisional Conference in Clarendon on Sunday, charged that the government is pushing to have Chinese contractors work on the multi-billion dollar SPARK programme.
He's calling for the intervention of Prime Minister Dr Andrew Holness.
