A probe is underway into the robbery of a People's Cooperative Bank on Gordon Street in May Pen, Clarendon on Thursday.
Three men entered the bank posing as customers.
They reportedly brandished firearms and forced their way into the vault where they stole more than $2.8 million.
The men also took money from two cash registers and stole a cellular phone.
The robbers then stole the security guard's firearm before escaping in a car.
