Pastor Roydel Rowe, otherwise called ‘Prophet’, was arrested on Tuesday by the police, while he was preaching at a church on Ward Avenue, in Mandeville.
Mr. Rowe was reportedly charged for illegal possession of a firearm, and robbery with aggravation in 2008, and was convicted on both offences.
However, he appealed his cases and was granted bail, but since then has not returned to court.
The court of appeal made an order that he be arrested and taken to prison to serve his sentences.
