Tokyo Olympic bronze medalist Megan Tapper and inform national champion Jordan Scott produced lifetime best performances to secure victories at the Monaco Diamond League meet, the 10th stop in the series on Friday.
Tapper continued her rich vein of form with another emphatic, equalling her personal best of 12.34 seconds to win the women's 100 metre hurdles ahead of Ditaji Kambunji of Switzerland 12.43 and Nadine Visser of the Netherlands 12.56 seconds.
Scott, the recently-crowned back to back national champion, produced another personal best this time 17.52 meters to win the men's triple jump.
Infact, Scott who went into the meet with a previous personal best of 17.34 meters, twice surpassed that mark at the meet as he also leapt 17.44 in an outstanding series of jumps.
National champion Nikisha Pryce was the next best placed Jamaican at the meet, clocking 49.63 seconds for third in the 400 metres behind Marileidy Paulino of the Dominican Republic who produced 49.06 to win. The next stop in the series will be in London on July 19.
