Deputy Commissioner of Police Fitz Bailey says the police have identified the masked man seen in a video threatening Prime Minister Andrew Holness and his family as well as residents in Clarendon.
In the expletive-laced video, which has been making the rounds on social media, the man suggested the Prime Minister could not stop mass killing, and threatened death for all Clarendon residents, Mr. Holness and his family.
The threatening video followed a mass shooting in Cherry Tree Lane, Clarendon on Sunday in which eight people were killed and 11 others wounded.
Speaking at a press briefing on Wednesday morning, DCP Bailey said the man "is somebody who has been on [the police's] radar before".
He said efforts are being made to arrest the suspect.
