Police intervene in Lyssons road work protest

St. Thomas East MP Dr Michelle Charles and Lyssons resident Marcel Clarke
Police were called in to quell a disturbance on Poinciana Crescent in Lyssons, St Thomas, involving alleged supporters of the People's National Party and a contractor on the REACH Programme. 
 
Member of Parliament for St Thomas East, Dr Michelle Charles said she intervened upon learning of the issue.
 
According to Marcel Clarke, a resident, the concern stems from the quality of work being done as the residents believe the project is being rushed.
