The St Catherine North police have laid additional charges against 48 year-old Glendon Bull Amos, once the parish's most wanted.
Amos has been charged with possession of a prohibited weapon, unauthorised possession of ammunition, and using a firearm to commit a felony in connection with a shooting in March last year.
The incident took place around 10 p.m., on March 1.
It's alleged that police officers were on patrol in the McKenzie Drive, Sunny Side Housing Scheme area of Linstead, St Catherine, when they received information about a murder in Commodore.
The suspects had reportedly escaped in a blue car.
The police intercepted a vehicle matching the description, but upon stopping, four men, including Amos, allegedly exited with guns and opened fire before fleeing.
Amos remained on the run until his capture on January 29 in Moneague, St Ann.
He has since been charged with several crimes, including murder.
