Police question man who beheaded common law wife

A 49 year old man who beheaded his common law wife during a domestic dispute at their home on the weekend was questioned by police on Tuesday.

Darly Lewis, is accused of killing Diane Hines, 33, the mother of two of his children.

Lewis surrendered to the Hunts Bay Police Saturday morning, in the company of Reverend Al Miller, hours after the headless body of Hines was found at their home on Oakland Crescent off Waltham Park Road.

It’s reported, that late Friday, the couple was involved in a heated domestic dispute. According to neighbours screams were heard coming from the couple's house.

Lewis left the premises, and sometime later, concerned neighbours entered the house and found the headless body of Hines. Her legs were also removed.

She was the mother of three young children.
