Two more guns are out of the hands of criminals following a police operation in St. Ann early Wednesday morning.
Officers from the Operations Support team conducted a targeted raid about 12:15 a.m. at an unoccupied property near the Sea Spa Resorts in Runaway Bay, St. Ann.
They were searching for wanted men and prohibited weapons when they discovered a Chrome Byrco .38 pistol with a magazine containing 6 rounds and an additional 91 rounds in a black pouch inside an old refrigerator.
The police then found a Diana 34 classic air gun with one 12 gauge cartridge wrapped in a black plastic bag and placed inside a white knitted bag.
No one was arrested.
