Deputy Commissioner of Police Richard Stewart
The St Catherine South Police are investigating the murder of a policeman at his home in Old Harbour Saturday morning.
Corporal Kamal Mayne, a 20-year veteran of the Jamaica Constabulary Force, was stationed at the Darling Street Police Station in the Kingston Western Division at the time of his death.
Deputy Commissioner Richard Stewart, head of the crime and security portfolio, said the body of the policeman was found about 5:30 a.m.
He is urging all members of the constabulary to remain vigilant.
