Cecil Ramsay, 69, and his wife Phyllis Ramsey, 55, were found stabbed to death at their home in Watson Grove on February 4.
A psychiatric evaluation of Simeon Ramsey, who is implicated in the death of his parents in Portmore, St. Catherine last month, has revealed that he is unfit to plead.
Mr. Ramsey was remanded when he appeared in the St. Catherine Parish Court on Tuesday.
He is scheduled to return to court on April 12.
Mr. Ramsey is represented by attorneys Tom Tavares-Finson and Marcus Moore.
