The Agriculture Ministry is to set up refrigerated containers across several beaches to provide storage for fishers.
Agriculture Minister Floyd Green says fishers often have challenges storing their catches which results in losses.
"I'm pleased to announce that we're going to be putting out four refrigerated containers, which will be solarized so that we do not have the issue of the electricity costs to run those refrigerated containers," he declared.
Mr. Green said the containers will be located at various beaches in St. Elizabeth and Clarendon.
