Montego Bay United will go into the second leg with an advantage, as they clipped Tivoli Gardens 2-1 in their first leg Wray and Nephew Jamaica Premier League (JPL) quarter final at the Stadium East Field on Friday night.
Owayne Gordon put Mo Bay ahead in the 57th minute. Tivoli Gardens then drew level courtesy of Roshawn Oldfield in the 74th minute. Jourdaine Fletcher scored the winner for Mo Bay United 3 minutes from time.
The other first leg quarter-final between defending champions Cavalier and Portmore United ended in a 1-1 draw.
Ronaldo Robinson netted the opener in the 26th minute for Portmore United. However, Jerome McLeary restored parity for Cavalier in minute 34.
The return legs will be played at Sabina Park on Monday with Cavalier facing Portmore United at 6:00 pm and Montego Bay United opposing Tivoli at 9:00.
