A man who was accused of robbing shoppers in downtown Kingston was attacked and killed by a mob on Thursday.
About 4:00 p.m., 26 year old Andre Whyte, a resident of Bronby in St. Mary, was accused of grabbing chains from shoppers on Orange Street.
He was attacked by the mob and stabbed several times.
Mr. Whyte managed to escape.
However, his body was found a few minutes later on a handcart in the Queens Market.
