Sixth suspect charged in the murder investigation involving Vybz Kartel

The police have charged a sixth man in connection with the murder of Clive Williams otherwise called "Lizard".

Andre St. John, otherwise called "Mad Suss", has been charged by the Constant Spring Police.

He is charged along with dancehall entertainers Vybz Kartel and Shawn Storm; fashion designer Calvin Haye, also known as "Moonie"; Shane Williams and Cayro Jones.

The cops say the accused murdered Mr. Williams at a house in Havendale, St Andrew in August this year.

Mr. Williams was allegedly beaten and stabbed to death.

The cops say they seized a cellular phone, which recorded the killing.

In the meantime, Vybz Kartel is expected to be questioned on Friday [December 16] on allegations that he conspired with a member of his Gaza Empire, Gaza Slim, to try and deceive the authorities.

Kartel is facing a charge of attempting to pervert the course of justice, as a result.

Gaza Slim, whose real name is Venessa Sadler, was charged last week after she reportedly made a false report to the police.

She reported to the police on October 29, that she had just been robbed by Clive Williams in the Havendale area.

However, the cops say this was a move to disrupt their investigation into the murder of Mr. Williams.

They say they also intercepted a text message, instructing her to give the false report.

The accused are scheduled to appear before the Corporate Area Criminal Court on Monday [December 19].
