Small fire at Victoria Jubilee Hospital disrupts some services

A small fire at the Victoria Jubilee Hospital in Kingston has resulted in the relocation of emergency and elective surgical surgeries.
 
The services will be offered at Kingston Public Hospital.
 
Acting Chief Executive Officer of the hospitals, Dr. Natalie Whylie, told Radio Jamaica News that the fire, which started about 3:15 a.m., was confined to an administrative office in the Operation theatre suite.
 
Files and equipment have been affected.
 
Two members of staff were treated for smoke inhalation.
 
The cause of the fire has not been determined.
