Suriname police search for man who fired shots at home of health minister

The Suriname police are searching for a man who fired several shots at the home of Health Minister Amar Ramadhin during the early hours of Wednesday morning.
 
Police say no one was injured and that they were provided with a description of the gunman by a guard at the minister's residence.
 
The authorities said they recovered nine shell casings at the home and that the gunman, who was wearing a white T-shirt and black pants, fled the scene on a bicycle.
