The St Elizabeth police arrested three Haitians and seized more than 500 lbs of marijuana in Lacovia Saturday morning.
The police say they acted on information, visited a home about 10:30 a.m. and seized the drugs, while also taking the three Haitians, all females, into custody.
One of the officers told Radio Jamaica News that intelligence gathered had indicated that the property targed was being used "as a site to coordinate drug for gun activities."
