An elderly couple is among three persons who were wounded in a shooting in Waterford, St Catherine on Monday.
One of those wounded is an 18 year old man who appeared to have been the target of the gunman.
It's reported that, about 8:45 p.m., the victim was sitting atop a roof with a male friend on Kelmore Way when a masked man armed with a gun walked toward them and opened fire, shooting him in the back.
The wounded man was rushed to hospital where he was admitted in serious but stable condition.
After the shooting it was discovered that a man and a woman, in their seventies, had also been shot, in the head and arm, while they sat at the front of their house on Canewood Road.
They are both being treated at hospital.
