Heavy rain associated with Tropical Storm Grace has been drenching the island leaving several roads impassable.
A tropical storm warning remains in effect for Jamaica.
The centre of Grace will move near or over the island on Tuesday with tropical storm-force winds, strong surf and flooding rains.
Tropical Storm Grace has maximum sustained winds of 45 miles per hour.
Overnight, Grace's centre passed briefly over Haiti's Tiburon Peninsula, bringing heavy rains and leading to flooding and mudslides.
