Police in Trinidad are searching for gunmen who last night launched an attack at the Accident and Emergency Ward of the Port of Spain General Hospital, where a man was being treated for bullet wounds.
The attack on the A&E left staff and patients scampering for safety.
The police believe that the gunmen were linked to an earlier attack in Gonzales, where three men were found with bullet wounds.
