T&T: Reward offered for information in Gonzales mass shooting

A TT$100,000 reward has been offered for any information leading to the arrests and prosecution of the suspects involved in Sunday's mass shooting in Gonzales, Trinidad and Tobago.

This was confirmed by Minister of National Security Fitzgerald Hinds on Tuesday.

Minister Hinds condemned the mass killing and said he had been given the assurance that the police were doing all that they could to find those responsible.

During the ordeal armed men pulled up to a group of limers after a football game and shot eight persons, four fatally.

One man died on the scene.

The other seven injured persons were taken to the hospital.

But while being transported into the facility, gunmen stormed the hospital and shot at the group, injuring persons, and sending staff and patients scampering for safety.
