Two persons were fatally shot during an operation in Rose Heights, St. James on Thursday night as part of the crackdown on criminal activities in the parish.
Two firearms were seized.
The police say the men were killed during a raging gun battle.
The operation dubbed 'Operation Storm' was launched on Monday to target wanted men and gangs.
Two women were taken into custody in Bogue Hill, New Ramble on Thursday, bringing to eight the number of persons arrested under the initiative.
Two men who were on the parish's most wanted list have also turned themselves in.
