The Police High Command has issued a public appeal for known gangsters to surrender themselves for interrogation.
This appeal came hours after deadly violence snuffed out the lives of eight persons in Tredegar Park, St. Catherine.
The police top brass has been searching for men aligned to the feared Clansman and One Order Gangs, based in St. Catherine, following the early morning murders.
Investigators say 15 to 20 heavily armed men dressed in dark clothing invaded Monkey Town in Tredegar Park and unleashed terror on residents.
Eight persons lay dead as a result of the early morning blood bath.
Hours later Friday afternoon, a list of wanted gangsters was posted with the names of four alleged members of the Clansman Gang and four from the One Order Gang.
Alleged One Order members Rohan Hope otherwise called ‘Placka’ and Everton Minott otherwise called 'Rado', turned themselves in to the police in the company of their attorney Peter Champagnie, shortly after the notice was issued.
The remaining One Order members being sought by investigators have been identified as Michael Maragh also called Coolie Micky and Marvin Baker otherwise known as Chiney Man.
The Clansman gangsters being sought are Howard Jackson also called ‘Thirty’, Novado Hodges, Simeon Elwig, Joel Jenning also called ‘JJ’ and Glenton Anderson known by his cronies as ‘Brown Man’.
The police say these gang members must turn themselves in at the Spanish Town police station at once.
