Two men wounded in St. Thomas shooting

Two men were rushed to hospital following a shooting in Seaforth, St. Thomas around 9 o'clock Wednesday morning.
 
Deputy Superintendent Oneil Thompson, officer in charge of Operations for the St. Thomas Police, told Radio Jamaica News that a group of men was standing in Seaforth, when two others walked up and fired shots in their direction before escaping. 
 
"After the shooting subsided, it was discovered that two men were injured as a result of the gunshots. They were taken to Princess Margaret Hospital where there are now undergoing treatment. The police [have] intensified their presence in the area. We are also getting assistance from our counterpart, the JDF, to see our best we can have the situation and the control," DSP Thompson reported. 
 
He said the shooting could be in reprisal for a murder on Sunday. 
 
Jahiem Graham was shot and killed Sunday after he left home for a nearby shop.
