The police are probing the circumstances which led to the deaths of a returned resident and her caregiver, and the disappearance of a 93 year-old man in Hanover.
Radio Jamaica News was informed that the mystery surrounding the deaths, started about 6.00 p.m., on Saturday when the body of 80 year-old Patsy Allen was found insider her house at Top Kendal, Hanover
Her body was found in a passage inside the dwelling.
Just two hours later, her caregiver, 73 year-old Teka Anderson-Nesbeth, was found dead inside her house in Grange District in Green Island. Her body had multiple stab wounds.
Investigators say Mrs Nesbeth's 93 year-old husband has gone missing and a search has been launched for him.
The cops say Mrs Nesbeth was last seen alive when she went to the home of the Mrs Allen to offer her care.
Superintendent Sharon Beeput, Commanding Officer for the Hanover Police, told Radio Jamaica News that her investigators are trying to establish what led to the chain of events.
