Two students killed in Portland crash

Two students are dead and several others injured following a motor vehicle crash in Portland on Tuesday afternoon. 
 
Superintendent Winchester Watson, head of the Traffic Enforcement Division of the Public Safety and Traffic Enforcement Branch (PSTEB), told Radio Jamaica News that the crash occurred about 4 p.m. 
 
It's reported that a Toyota Picnic motor car was transporting passengers along the Blueberry Hill main road when it collided with a parked truck.
 
Several persons travelling in the taxi were injured. They were transported to hospital where two of them died. 
 
The deceased are believed to be students of Titchfield High School. 
 
Five other students are among the injured. Three of them suffered head injuries, with two of those considered serious. 
 
The driver of the taxi is also being treated at hospital.
