Detectives in St. Ann are investigating a gun attack on two men on the Discovery Bay main road in St. Ann on Tuesday evening.
The victims sustained bullet wounds and are being treated at hospital.
It's reported that about 7:45 p.m., the men were travelling in a recently purchased Toyota Mark X motorcar with no registration plates affixed.
On reaching a section of the Discovery Bay main road in the vicinity of Discovery Bauxite Company (formally Noranda), a silver Toyota Premio motor vehicle drove up and blocked the path of the Mark X forcing it to a halt.
Men alighted the Premio and started firing in the direction of the Mark X.
The two male occupants were shot.
They were later assisted to hospital.
